Teamsters Local 988

The Teamsters Local 988 requested a new website and a new custom app. They had strict parameters surrounding both projects and that was that wherever the web site was hosted, needed to be provided by an organization with a recognized union in-house.  Additionally, the Teamsters 988 president similarly required that the app be provided with as much recognized union labor as possible.

I directly oversaw the app creation, including requiring a certain look for the icons, made a new logo for the website, app, and branding purposes, engaged in action photography to push businesses to come to the bargaining table, and built a new website, which also required a domain name change and port because their original domain name was unnecessarily long.

Additionally, I created a step and repeat backdrop for events, to ensure that local elected officials and candidates were photographed with the logo, in order to show that they were supportive of the local union and its mission on behalf of workers. The step and repeat was also used at the annual stewards convention, which then President James Hoffa attended.

Since the creation of the website, they have made minor changes to the overall look, but the organizational flow and overriding work was completed by me.
